Q: What is the dress
code on board the ship?
A: Shipboard attire will be Country Club casual throughout the cruise, with the exception of the Publishers Gala. For this formal evening, men may choose to wear a dark suit or dinner jacket (black tie optional) and women may wear a cocktail dress or evening gown.
Q: What should I pack?
A: Pack like you would for any resort. Cruise vacations are casual by day, whether you're on the ship or on shore. In the evening, attire is dictated by occasion. If you forget something, our shops onboard carry a wide array of products and clothing.
Q: Do you provide wheelchairs to passengers?
A: Wheelchair arrangements can be made with appropriate notice.
Q: What is your smoking policy?
A: While smokers will receive a warm welcome on
board, Regent Seven Seas recognizes the need to restrict where
smoking is permitted so as not to cause discomfort to, or provide
a health or safety hazard for, the majority of our guests who
do not smoke. Cigarette smoking is not permitted in any enclosed
dining areas. Cigarette smoking is only permitted in the
designated area of the outdoor Pool Grill.
Other than open deck areas, the following are the only public
rooms or areas where cigarette smoking is now permitted: Connoisseur
Club, Casino, Stars Lounge (designated area), Galileo's (outside
area only), Pool Bar.
Pipe smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club aboard
Seven Seas Navigator. Pipe smoking in open deck areas is considered
an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.
Cigar smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club aboard
Seven Seas Navigator, and in the designated area of the Pool
Bar area.
In light of continuing legislative changes in smoking policies
around the world as well as the comfort, health and safety
of our guests and crew, both in terms of the proven dangers
of second hand smoke and the fire hazard that smoking presents,
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will be changing our policy of smoking
in staterooms, suites and on private balconies. Not only does
smoking present a fire hazard, but it is also an inconvenience
to other guests as the smoke, or its odor, invades surrounding
suites, balconies and public areas, creating discomfort for
the guests in these areas. Smoking will therefore be prohibited
in all suites and balconies fleet-wide. Failure
to comply with this ban will result in guests being asked
to leave the ship at their expense, without refund or credit
for the unused portion of their cruise.
Q: Are gratuities included?
A: All standard gratuities are included in the cruise fare.
Q: What is "open seating?"
A: You can dine whenever, wherever and with whomever you choose during regular dining hours. In some of the alternative restaurants, reservations are recommended.
Q: Are children allowed? And what about children's fares?
A: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21. We are unable to accept infants less than one year of age. There are no special childrens fares available for this cruise.
Q: Are there special activities for children?
A:Currently, there is not any childrens programming scheduled onboard.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Changes of vacation date are subject to cancellation
penalties. Requests received inside 121 days will be subject
to the following charges:
120 - 91 days prior to initial vacation date = $200 CAD admin
fee per person
90 - 60 days prior to initial vacation date = 10% of fare per
person
59 - 30 days prior to initial vacation date = 25% of fare per
person
29 - 15 days prior to initial vacation date = 50% of fare per
person
14 - 0 days prior to initial vacation date = 100% of fare per
person
In addition to the penalties outlined above, all refunds are
subject to incurred costs for insurance, hotel, air and ground
services where applicable. Within 60 days, a 100% cancellation
fee will apply to air, land and hotel programs. We are unable
to provide refunds for lost tickets, tickets not used (in whole
or in part), or for Guests failing to bring travel and health
documents as required. The initial vacation date is defined
as the earlier of air departure date or cruise/hotel check-in
date.
Q: Will I get seasick?
A: The Navigator is engineered with state-of-the-art stabilizers that greatly reduce ship motion. If seasickness is a concern, choose a cabin towards the center of the ship where ship movement is less pronounced. You can also consult your doctor about medications to take in case of motion sickness.
Q: What about the night life?
A: There's dancing, live entertainment, discos
and lounges, feature films, and casinos. There will also be
special events like the Publishers Gala and a Late Night Buffet.
Q: Can I use my hair dryer or shaver?
A: Yes. Each suite has 110 volt outlets. |
